Ceilidh is checking in! I still haven't gone on my journey yet, and the hiatus is NOT over, but I do have an update for you. My Dear Supervillain has undergone some major back editing. You might as well re-read it from the beginning so you won't be confused when the next chapter (eventually) comes out. I do still intend to go on my journey, but after many delays, my would-be travel companion bailed out on me, so now I have to go alone. I've spent this time preparing all over again. I'm nearly ready. Now I'm mostly just waiting until after going on a family camping trip. New Content: My Dear Supervillain has been revised. |

Time for a HIATUS. Yes. I'm all out of pre-made content and comics to post, and I'll be going on a really long trip starting in June. My life has become an uneventful blur. If there's anything worth noting, however, I've gotten a new digital art program called SAI (no idea what it stands for). I'm loving the way this one does its lines! So, I did a practice picture in it; my first Mirror/Mirror related art! Didn't feel like making a section for it, so it goes in with Original Art. Another site redesign? WTF, Ceilidh?! Well, it only took me three days. Two, if you consider that the first night I was working on a different layout that I decided against using. If you've browsed through my web design section, this layout might seem familiar: yeah, it's based on the Tea with Tea & Tea class project. Only, instead of using tea as a theme, I used dragonflies, since they are very much a part of me, even though I hate em. They always bite me... *grumble*. Regarding the actual site's content: Last week's update happened to fall on the 1st of April, so I felt obliged to pull an April Fools joke. | March 18th 2009: Reindeer really exist?! | My Dear Supervillain progress: It's not posted yet because I'm only partially through. I finished fixing all the annoying little grammar and spelling issues. I fixed a few odd inconsistencies like news reporters changing names and their money going back and forth between dollars and gold. I fixed a few badly-explained things. Next, I shall add some foreshadowing for certain events and the arrival of certain characters. That should be fun, and it should be done by next Wednesday. The next chapter is a work in progress. Mirror/Mirror progress: Due to some design problems and plot issues, I've had to go back to the drawing board. It's ready and well up to page 38, but beyond that, it's still being drafted. Wondering why these things are taking me so long? I've got big plans, but they're not art related. I'm going to shift my lifestyle around soon, and it's likely that I'll vanish from the internet for a few months. In the meantime, I'm raising funds, making plans, and generally preparing for change. I've temporarily changed the prices and variety of commissions. Check it out!
